Human Resources Generalist

The Baptist Village communities of Arizona Baptist Retirement Centers are leaders in providing high quality and loving care for Seniors in beautiful Independent Living, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Facilities located in the northwest valley of Phoenix, Arizona. We seek an energetic and enthusiastic Human Resources Generalist to join our team.
The Human Resources Generalist should be organized with the ability to multi-task and respond to multiple priorities and/or events. Bi-lingual English/Spanish is required.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing new hires, salary changes, terminations and other HR/payroll paperwork
- Maintaining personnel filing system
- Consulting with managers with regard to Human Resources matters
- Assisting campus administrators with employee relations issues
- Ensuring compliance with established ABRC policies and procedures
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for overseeing the human resource functions at two different Baptist Village locations (55th Ave. and Thunderbird Rd. in Glendale & El Mirage Rd. and Bell Rd. in Surprise). Experience coordinating work at multiple locations is a plus!
ABRC is called by God to care for elders with a compassionate heart, to help them recognize the value and purpose of their lives, and to experience dignity, respect and self-worth.
- Yearly TB test (if needed, a Chest X-ray).
- Must be able to assist in the evacuation of Residents.
- Minimum of four (4) years experience in Human Resources.
- Excellent computer skills including data entry and the ability to create/maintain Excel Spreadsheets and Word Documents.
- Strong clerical skills and the ability to organization large volumes of paperwork.
- Knowledge of payroll and human resources principles.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Bi-lingual Spanish/English required.
